About David
David Marshall is focused on motivating people to look beyond material success in order to create legacies of lasting significance in the world. For more than 20 years, he has served as a champion of sustainable development initiatives in many of the world’s most vulnerable economies, while serving as the CEO of International Needs Canada since 2009.
The Umoja Journey is the culmination of David’s lifetime of entrepreneurial thinking and achievements in the construction, high-end audio, and travel industries. He is the author of two books: Beyond Charity: How to Increase Profit through Innovative Strategic Partnership and Umoja: A Journey from Success to Significance, written in collaboration with Colleen H. Cole.
